Lighthouse Christian Church exists to glorify Jesus Christ through the power
of the Holy Spirit, equipping individuals for discipleship, and developing
leaders who bring the Kingdom of God to the world.

Lighthouse was started under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Liebelt in 1924 after he had returned from the
Azuza Street revival. He had received a powerful baptism in the Holy Spirit and returned to share what God had
done in his life.
“During this time of revival, which was conducted in farm homes, many people were saved and filled with the
Holy Spirit. Remarkable healings took place and broken homes healed…We built the original church building
during the great depression when it was most difficult. But the people worked together, and God blessed the
efforts with many people coming to the Lord. We conducted open air street meetings that were well attended.”

Lighthouse and we have roots in revival, and we continue today over 100 years later to contend for a fresh
outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We maintain our Spirit filled heritage and believe Jesus is still saving the lost,
healing the sick, and setting the captives free. We are hungry to see Jesus pour out His Spirit in our city, our
nation, and throughout the world.
At Lighthouse, people gather together from all walks of life, pursuing Jesus Christ with a heart of passion and
fire. We continue to see Jesus heal, save, and deliver people from sin and darkness.
